Mangusta Capital
Inaugural AGM

An Event Proposal
Prepared for Kevin Jiang, Founder & Managing Partner

San Francisco, California
Q4 2026
The Vision

More than a meeting.
A moment for Mangusta.

This is Mangusta's debut. The inaugural AGM. Every LP in the room will walk away with a visceral sense of what it means to be part of this fund.

We deliver three things in one afternoon: reward current LPs with access and connection, give Fund 2 prospects a reason to lean in, and capture a content library that extends the impact for months.

Concise. Directed. Impactful.

The Experience

Three acts. One afternoon.

Each act serves a distinct purpose and creates a distinct emotional beat. Guests feel the shift as they move through the space.

I
2:30 PM — 3:30 PM

The Arrival

We set the tone before a word is spoken. The first ten minutes tell the room this is something worth being part of.

  • Bar and light bites available on arrival
  • Photography and videography begins on arrival
  • Ambient music, welcoming lighting
II
3:30 PM — 4:45 PM

The Program

75 minutes of stage programming designed to feel like a conversation. Every lighting cue and sound detail serves one purpose: keep the focus on the talent and draw the audience deeper into the content.

  • Opening remarks: State of the Fund
  • Founder spotlight panel
  • Keynote speaker
  • Closing remarks & surprise announcement
  • Multi-camera capture throughout
III
4:45 PM — 6:00 PM

The Social

Guests make their way up to the rooftop terrace, where we set the stage for conversation with a premium open bar and curated catering.

  • Rooftop cocktails with Bay views
  • Live music
  • Short video interviews with founders & LPs

Stage Programming

Build conviction.

Every segment on stage is designed with Fund 2 in mind. Every segment answers a question LPs and prospects are already asking.

15–20 min

Opening Remarks: State of the Fund

Our thesis. How Mangusta views a rapidly changing world — where the opportunities are, where the pitfalls lie, and why Fund 1 has proven the model. Closing with the tease of a surprise announcement during closing remarks, giving every guest a reason to stay present through the final moment.

Content capture: social clips + full recording
25–30 min

Founder Spotlight Panel

Two to three portfolio founders on stage, moderated by a journalist or reporter of note. Fireside format. Offer the audience an inspiring view into how smart people build what comes next.

Content capture: quotable moments for LP outreach
15–20 min

Keynote Speaker

A guest speaker from outside the portfolio, introduced by our moderator. An industry operator validating the vertical AI thesis, or a respected allocator making the case for specialized funds in this market.

Content capture: shareable beyond LP base
5 min

Closing Remarks

Kevin returns to the stage to deliver the goods. A surprise announcement — a new partnership, a milestone, a Fund 2 reveal — that rewards everyone who locked in to the program. A call to build what comes next, together. An invitation to continue the conversation on the rooftop.

Recommended Venue

The Pearl SF

A 1901 warehouse conversion in San Francisco's Dogpatch district. Three levels of industrial character: reclaimed cedar ceilings, curated art installations, and a rooftop garden overlooking the Bay.

Levels
150
Capacity
10 hrs
Included Rental

Main Floor — The Program

Reclaimed cedar ceilings, skylights, and a full bar. We design the room to reflect the Mangusta brand. 150 capacity gives us complete flexibility for staging, cameras, and audience comfort at 100 guests.

Mezzanine — The Hold

Overlooking the main room with panoramic windows facing the Bay and Oakland hills. We use this level as the reception area during the first hour, with draping between the mezzanine and main floor to build anticipation before the program begins.

Rooftop — The Social

Open-air garden terrace with Italian porcelain tile, bistro string lights, and sweeping views of the Bay. The natural scene change that signals the start of cocktail hour.

Production Infrastructure

Production-ready infrastructure with full rigging access, a complete catering kitchen, and on-site venue management. We control every element of the environment — lighting, staging, sound, and flow — and design it all around the Mangusta brand.

Why The Pearl for Mangusta: The main floor delivers total production freedom. 150 capacity means 100 guests with a proper stage, multi-camera setup, and room to breathe. The three-level layout maps directly to the three-act structure: reception on the mezzanine, program on the main floor, cocktails on the rooftop. We shape the space to match the Mangusta brand, using lighting, staging, and design to create an environment that feels intentional, cohesive, and distinct from the hotel-ballroom AGMs that LPs attend every quarter.

Content Capture

One afternoon. Months of content.

Every element of this event is designed with the camera in mind. The AGM produces a content library that keeps the Fund 2 conversation alive long after the afternoon ends.

Documentary Photography

Beautiful, editorial visual documentation of the entire event. Candid and intentional. The kind of imagery that captures the feel of the room and is worth sharing — on LinkedIn, in LP updates, and across Mangusta's brand.

Sizzle Reel

A highlight reel capturing the energy, the key moments, and the community. The piece that reaches LPs who attended and prospective Fund 2 investors alike.

Full Stage Content

Complete video of all on-stage programming — the opening, the founder panel, and the keynote. Polished, edited, and ready for distribution to the LP base.

Social Content

Short-form clips pulled from the program and the social hour. Released over weeks as a content drip. Each one a touchpoint with the LP base and broader audience.

What the $100K build unlocks

The core event is the same at both levels. The difference is in production depth and polish. At $100K, we gain significantly more flexibility with scenic design — custom staging, branded environments, and atmospheric lighting that transforms the space. We add the ability to integrate video elements into the stage program if needed. Catering moves from a clean, simple offering to a more curated, upscale experience. The overall feel shifts from polished to premium.
